At Mac Group, we lead in eco-smart strip-outs, going beyond demolition to reinvent materials as valuable resources. Our selective deconstruction process recovers plasterboard/gib board, timber, metals, carpets, wiring, plastic and glass, with up to 95% diversion from landfill.
Our strip out phases includes the following.
Pre-demolition assessment & planning
- We perform in-depth site evaluations and prepare waste management plans aligned with industry standards to achieve 60–95% diversion rates.
Selective deconstruction/demolition
- Non-structural elements, such as partition walls, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and lighting are carefully dismantled to preserve materials for reuse and recycling.
Waste removal & transportation
- Salvaged materials are segregated onsite and responsibly transported using our sustainable own trucks, ensuring minimal contamination and efficient recovery.
Repurpose, reuse & recycling
- We partner with certified recyclers (for plaster/gib, glass, metal, wiring, and timber) and charitable organizations to repurpose furniture and fixtures by diverting maximum material from landfill.
Post-demolition review & site management
- A thorough post-strip audit is conducted to validate clean-up completion, environmental safety, and compliance with Mac Group’s P-MS09 Greenstar waste-management procedure.
Detailed process documentation is outlined in Mac Group’s P‑MS09 Greenstar Waste Management Procedure.
